I would like to thank everyone for all their thoughts. Though leave it to an Aggie to suggest getting AA miles from SQ . My goal is to get there as comfortably as possible and earn as many AA Q points and miles as I can. Don't want the wife and kids to sit in coach on the way to Hawaii this year. looks like I am going to go DFW-LAX-HKG-SIN-NRT-DFW. This looks like it will work with my schedule and makes life a bit easier dealing with customs and security on the return trip.
