Apparently, the schedules must be stored in UTC, as I got a PTCM that said everything will still record fine whether or not you download the software update, but the time will be wrong on-screen.

I think everything else that was supposed to automatically change did with whatever patches were automatically downloaded. For the Blackberry, I had to manually download the patch, as I never do a desktop synch.
I figure there are some things, though, that are supposed to automatically change, and since I manually changed them, they might change again in a few weeks (TV/VCR/that sort of thing).
