My experience as well. Which is why I always ticket at the airport - there is no guarantee when they'll ticket by mail.
The risk of ticketing at the airport is that the agent may refuse to ticket it saying things like discount certificate doesn't apply. Then I would have wasted 1-2 hrs plus parking tolls etc.
Over the phone at least if I got a crappy agent I could always hang up and call back.
