Just doesn't make sense to me to put a non-smoking room smack bang in the middle of a group of smoking rooms. There should be a smoking floor.
This property is a small, 2 stories building. they can't separate smoking/non-smoking by floor, unless they want 50/50 ratio.
As I walked around the hallway this morning, it turned out my room is on the border of smoking rooms and non-smoking rooms. Even the room on the other side of hallway is a smoking room. So I guess the previous guests/houskeeping confusion story might be true. I still want to find out.
I'll write an email to hotel GM.
I just handed 2 ashtrays to a houskeeping lady in the hallway. She was sorry to find ashtrays in non-smokign room.
