I've got a dinner next month at the French Laundry, and I'm looking for recommendations on where to stay nearby. Normally in Napa/Sonoma my wife and I stay at the Kenwood Inn over in Sonoma, which is VERY nice, but a bit far to drive after a multi-hour dinner ending around midnight. We're looking for something comparable as close as possible to the French Laundry in Yountville, and ideally I'd like to pay less for the room than for dinner (i.e. under $500 per night).
Any suggestions are welcome!
