I went through SFO a few weeks ago with my family: three of us, two PNRs, only one of us (myself) with any status (2P). We all checked in at the elite kiosks and went through the elite security line without any problems.

I even made sure to show my Premier card to the attendant at the elite line to make sure we were OK. She said yes and waved us right through.
