On a DTW PEK flight, upstairs in C, I sat next to a real idiot. I said hello when he sat down, and probably not 10 other words during the entire 16 hour flight. Neither one of us slept at all.

He spent the whole flight tearing pages out of a stack of airline magazines (he took over half of them from the mag rack upon boarding).

About 12 hours into the flight I realized that he had his headset was on, but it wasn't plugged in!
