Welcome. I think what you are asking people to do here is like saying, make me like _______ (insert any food you want). One airline over another is not an across the board thing. I dont think you will find ANYONE (even us koolaiders) that says DL (or any airline) is right for everyone. We prefer DL because it fits for us, but that doesnt mean it is right for everyone else. We prefer DL for different reasons (for many it is the front line people's great service).

The only way you are going to know if Delta is for you is by flying them and deciding how it fits into your schedules, destinations, price needs and so on. Out of PIT I would think you would have less choice on DL.

It is also sad that you got the Gold Status card without first doing this testing, as that comp is a once in a lifetime benefit, and you might have found DL a better fit at another point in time than you do right now.
