LIT-BKK Using Miles/Points:Purchase & Upgrade?
I am a newbie to FlyerTalk, so please feel free to alert mod to move this thread if need be.
I am attempting to get 2 award tickets from Little Rock, AR to Bangkok, Thailand. One for my wife, and one for myself. She goes for 2 months and I will join her the last 2 weeks of her trip. I am running into trouble getting the return flight booked for both of us because we are planning on flying Business Class, and most airlines only open up one aware seat in Bus/First Class. I am looking for any help I can get...suggestions, ideas, thoughts. Here are the details:
She: Depart anytime June 26-June 30
Me: Depart anytime August 10-12
Both returning anytime August 24-27
We have the following points/miles:
Delta - 280k
AA - 100k
Amex Mbrshp Rwrds - 155k
Aside from the above, I am willing to buy coach class tickets if I can use points to get upgrades to Bus/First on the long legs of the flight. Is that possible?
