Not quite sure I agree on this point - I fairly regularly book two rooms and pretty much always book as two seperate reservations and have never received any points whatsoever for the second room (I'm pretty sure this is in the T&C's somewhere). Perhaps it's just my experience, but I'd be most surprised if you get the points (and annoyed that I don't!!)
From what we had in antoher thread I assume this is because your second reservation falls under "cannot be at two places in one time". The system does not differentiate between the address, just by the two reservations.
If it would be possible to book it under one reservation I am rather sure that it is possible to get the points unless there are other reasons preventing you from doing so.
