While I do generally agree with him...and I tend to go places for the cultural value, and the local places off the beaten path. Sometimes its really nice to be able to kick back on a beach for a week and not worry about anything. I always come back from my cultural trips (I've been on lots) in need of resting for a few days. I always come back from my beach vacations rested up, tan, and ready to go. Never been drawn to take a cruise. Though I'd like to take a cruise through Alaska...to places that are generally inaccessible via land.
