elite benefits - best strategy to get a lower fare?
I am flying cdg - amm - cdg in April but i can't get anything cheaper than K (which is 950€ and for a personal weekend trip I find a bit expensive).

Question is, can I use my elite status to get a better rate? Can I ask to be waitlisted with priority in a specic class? what's your advice?
