Just a heads up!

I officially filled a complaint, needless to say on deaf ears with Hilton on this issue!

At the bar I noticed a strange device in the ceiling, similar to a fire alarm. I inquired from the Bar Keep as to what that was. He replied it was an Audio Recording device!

There are NO signs any where to indicate this compromise to my private conversations at this bar. (HGI agreed they would post signage, but the device remains). Now really I do not care that I am recorded, but it is the principle of fact. I expect to be recorded in a Casino, Airport etc... but not at a bar / lounge. I was told this was to settle customer paying disputes. Hilton assured me this is not common practice, but is allowed at this facility. In addition I was basically told if I am that uncomfortable, to stay elsewhere.


SO this is just an FYI for those of you who maybe inclined to stay here.
