Whatever they paid, I suspect Internet Brands is getting a bargain. Flyertalkers are a loyal and upper-income bunch, and "everybody" knows this is one the best and most useful travel websites out there. Travel is a perfect fit for the web, so the potential to monetize the value of Flyertalk should be enormous.
I just hope the new owners don't screw it up. And thanks, Randy, for making this wonderful site possible.
