I stayed there in January and it was fine. I thought the room (10th floor) was very nice.

But in San Diego, I like Hilton in Del Mar the best (although I haven't stayed all Hiton family hotels in SD yet).^ Nice lobby, beautiful outdoor pool (didn't use it) and yes they have an excutive lounge. I do believe they charged a parking fee though (but the most expensive fee is at ES in La Jolla, $15! ).
