We contacted HGVC and they said they have no obligation because the points were traded to RCI. It's a separate entity. Approx 3 yrs ago we traded to RCI for a place in Cancun. After we booked,the property changed to a HGVC. We then asked for an upgrade and were told that we were getting a room from the RCI "pool" and not the HGVC "pool" because the points were coming from RCI
