Do tell, where did you find out that NW (Plat?) Elites can redeem awards at Standard levels when everyone else has to use RuleBuster for the same space?

I am a Silver and will no doubt be Gold by next month. Additional mileage redemption privileges would matter to me quite a bit, especially since I will be moving overseas at year's end and won't have too many chances to use other Elite benefits such as the domestic u/g's. I've never heard of Elite-only mileage redemption privileges on NW.

Slightly off-topic: if only NW had an int'l u/g system to reward their ff's, as has been suggested here numerous times. I'll keep dreaming... In the meantime, do you know which, if any, of the world's major carriers actually offer complimentary u/g's to int'l J for their Elites?

Best regards,
