Trying to book a 30,000 mile upgrade on a coach fare from Seattle to Leon late summer. I have tried dozens of times and in a two week period I can only find one flight down to upgrade all the way and NO flights home.

Why is it so hard to use this redemption award? ( at least on this route) Am I trying too far in advance of the time? Or am I too late?
