Seriously, this person could be a westjet spy, or a marketer trying to collect unauthorized info. Perhaps someone should inquire with the AC desk there? As was pointed out, anyone could run into YVR and grab a few bags (or place a few undesired bags) and then walk out.
A bit dramatic, don`t you think? The reason I knew what these guys were doing is because I saw one at YYZ, was curious, and asked him. He was more than happy to tell me what he was up to.
They don`t wear any ID is because they don`t need any. Despite all the official-looking "Do Not Enter" signs around domestic baggage areas, you and I both know anyone can waltz in. These guys with the PDAs are the least of your worries if that fact scares you.
