Back when I was doing a regular commute if we got caught in traffic and miss check in deadline we'd still get on every time as the agent checked us in before we turned up, would hand us the BPs as we race past the desk and advise the gate so we didnt need to pause to check. Several times the doors would shut behind us and we'd push back almost before we got settled in our seats.

Funny, I've had similar at Madrid, but heading for the first flight of the day after out at some clubs all night. Would have been a little more than 35 minutes, because I insisted on grabbing a shower and checking out of hotel. Made it thanks to a crazy cab driver.
