According to the "Airport Planning & Development Handbook" by Paul Dempsey, "Continental reached its high water mark of 285 flights per day (including Continental Express) at Denver" in 1992. I believe that in the 1970's CO operated 747's and DC-10's between Denver and ORD, and between Denver and LAX.
