I'm guessing that as at the 8th the explicit links to buy points will be gone and the only option will be to select an award that is 10% above your balance and pay for the shortfall in the process.

I really doubt purchased points, which afterall you might have purchased months ago, will be segregated and only released 1:9 against earned points.
