I made a reservation at an Oakland airport parking lot a couple of years ago for Thanksgiving, and it wasn't quite as easy and painless as I hoped. I showed up at the lot at the appointed time only to find the gate shut. Finally the guy came around to open the gate, and managed to find me a space by squeezing me in somewhere in the back, barely dodging cars on either side.

Since then I've been wary about those parking reservations sites.
