What christep said, plus this: if you get IB to do a recalc of taxes don't forget such recalc will also include any new or higher fuel surcharges that you may not have been charged for at the airport after the reissue, so maybe, just maybe, getting IB to do a proper recalc will not result in a refund at all, but just the opposite!.
