I agree that the male French voice is a little off when compared with the female English voice.

I think things are better (more polished) on the mainline AC voiceovers.

Not to defend the tape, but with the extensive travelling I've done in the Atlantic provinces, I'm 99% sure that the guy doing the French part of the tape is from French NB or NS.

I'm sure most french speaking person from QC would know that they have their own way of speaking French, which is slightly different than the "international" French we're used to hear.

After listening to it a few times, I came to that conclusion. Now instead of being irritated by the message, I'm actually enjoying it.

FYI, in French NB, as I work exclusively with schools, I've heard several people calling the teacher "Enseigneur" a word you'll only find in that part of the world, made out of "enseignant" and "professeur"

That's what Canada is all about, a diversity of people and language!
