Unfortunately, I have significantly cut down travel on BA because of this. I've switched most of my travel to SQ via FRA. I do 4-5 RTWs per year and used to always stop by LHR to visit friends. However, because of many reasons people have mentioned, in 2006 I flew the bare minimum to requalify for gold status. I expect to the same in 2007.
