About the same as ever. Other than arriving into YYZ and having no ground crew ready, the vast majority of my AC flights are on time or early. As for another poster's comments on SA flights, I have had similar experiences on DL and CO.

Do you have any insights or theories on why this is the case?
At many airports, the massive number of flights scheduled at the same time during peak periods causes lengthy lineups (ORD, EWR). I would also add too many RJs buzzing around, but I digress.

How do you think Air Canada's on-time performance compares with other airlines it competes with on the same routes?
Again, despite what you have read above, most of AC's competition is from WS, domestically. I have never flown on WS, so have no basis for comparison. On transborder flights, I have found AC to be generally more reliable than UA and NW, and about the same as CO, DL.

Are there any airlines whose on-time performance, in your opinion, has become dramatically better or worse in recent month?.
No.

To what extent do concerns about delays affect your flying patterns? I.e. Are there specific airlines, airports or flights that you avoid because you think there could be a delay?
I will avoid ORD whenever possible.
