Globe and Mail question: Flight delays

I am writing a story for the Travel section of The Globe and Mail on flight delays.

I am particularly interested in the PERCEPTION of frequent flyers on whether flight delays are becoming more or less common (ignoring those caused by weather that can’t be helped).

Comments or insights on any of the following issues would be most appreciated:

As a frequent traveller, do you think Air Canada’s on-time record is getting better or worse?

Do you have any insights or theories on why this is the case?

How do you think Air Canada's on-time performance compares with other airlines it competes with on the same routes?

Are there any airlines whose on-time performance, in your opinion, has become dramatically better or worse in recent month?.

To what extent do concerns about delays affect your flying patterns? I.e. Are there specific airlines, airports or flights that you avoid because you think there could be a delay?

If you wish to send your comments directly, my e-mail address is [email protected]

Thanks for your help
