Dick, maybe you will be lucky. I had a UA connecting flight that because of schedule changes, turned into a one-stop.

However, since it was originally two segments the miles ended up posting as two segments.

Maybe NW's system will show the same quirk (hopefully!).

Another possibility...standby for an earlier MKE-MSP flight??
