This is concerning. My wife and I are going from DTW to HNL and I have us in 22A,B departure and 22H&J return. I have had three other people tell me that the exit doors do not protrude that much.

If anyone could share their experiences on DC-10's it would be greatly appreciated. I would like to avoid having a permanent limp from sitting in 22-J if possible. Especially the 7 1/2 hours from HNL to MSP.
