I was referring specifically to the LAX International First Class Lounge. NOT Munich. NOT Frankfurt. And I do not propose that I should get access to the MUC or FRA IFCL.
I feel I have a valid reason to complain in regard to the LAX situation since it is promoted as a Star Alliance Gold benefit, and the fact that Biz-class C ticketed LH M&M *G members are able to use it.
I am not trying to get something for nothing. I was simply trying to point out the "downgrade" of a benefit for UA *G members at LAX in regard to LH lounge access.
I know that you are talking about LAX. And I know that paid LH C tix with UA 1K will not get me into the First Class lounge at LAX. Unless prior to the renovation LH FCL is also SEN lounge.
I'd better searched my pictures collection, just in case I have the pictures of LAX FC or/and SEN.
I still think that you are very lucky in the past to be able to go to FC lounge when having BP tix with UA-1K. As a similar example, using UA-1K card and having LH C BP, will not get you into NRT NH F lounge, nor BKK TG F lounge, nor SFO UA IFL. In short, you were lucky, and because of the renovation, a rule enforcement is in progress. I must say, the shared lounge at TBIT is nothing to look forward to.
