I used to go to Ljubljana regularly. It was my favourite place in Europe to visit. With the country being so small and the population so small you could meet the heads of business easily.

The restaurant I remember clearly and really enjoyed was Frogs. The name though is the Slovenian word for Frogs. It has a large oven which extends into the restaurantand is covered in enamel tiles.

Great food, frogs legs to try and great wine and atmosphere.

It is not in the centre of the city. I have not been there for a few years, but if it still there it is worth finding.
