But in general, if you have an excuse to stay a night there, take it - it is one of my favourite cities, with very good food and wine, good shops, and implausibly pretty people.

Be aware also that the LJU is quite a schlep from the city, which would have to be factored into any timings, although it is a tiny airport, and therefore very quick to get through.
