4MM and definately under age 40...
Boarding a DEN-MCI flight a few weeks ago right behind the kids in F, I noticed a tall, youngish gentleman lifting his roller into the overhead bin. Hanging from it was a custom, but not FT, luggage tag with his name, MP# and "4 Million Mile" 1K/UGS status.
FOUR MILLION? According to my quick and dirty calculations, that's:
808 LAX-JFK r/ts (16 years of doing it every week)
372 SFO-LHR r/ts (14 years of doing it every other week)
401 JFK-HNL r/ts (8 years of doing it every week)
190 LHR-SYD r/ts (8 years of doing it every other week)
345 DEN-NRT r/ts (14 years of doing it every other week)
This guy cannot have been older than 40. I would say somewhere between 32-35. So unless he's a some crazy combo-clone of Lucky and BJ, that's intense. Does anyone know who this guy may be?
I asked him if he was a Flyertalker. He laughed and said "No, but I know what you're talking about it." And then he was gone (or, more properly, I was banashed to the inferiority of my E+ exit row aisle seat).
