My wife & I went to Vegas 3 weeks ago thru an Expedia Vegas Deal package - part of that package was a rental at Alamo.

What surprised me was that upon check-in and signing the papers I was charged for about $30 in fees - I asked the CSR why is that since I thought I prepaid the package deal in Expedia.

His response to me was that only priceline includes all it's fees in their price schemes or package deals and Expedia does not do it that way. And sure enough - looked closely at my confirmation printout - a small fine print does indeed mention taxes & fees in car rental are extra.

Moral of the Story: Rent @ Priceline.com
