Just received the following email from BA (
after my TP and miles have posted

)
Dear Mr latitude
We just wanted to say how sorry we are that you may recently have changed your travel plans because of the planned industrial action. We realise that not only might this have been an inconvenience but you may also have lost the opportunity to earn BA Miles and Tier Points on your trip.
To rectify this and by way of apology, we would like to give you the BA Miles and Tier Points you would have earned on your original flight, had you been able to fly with us as planned*. This applies whether you re-booked onto another flight, were re-routed or even if you cancelled your flights. If you re-booked with British Airways you will also earn BA Miles and Tier Points on your re-booked flights (in accordance with Executive Club Terms and Conditions).
Your BA Miles have been awarded to your account. If your flight was also eligible for Tier Points, these have also been added to your account. We hope that this goes some way to making up for the inconvenience you experienced and also reassures you of our commitment to bringing you the best possible service.
Thank you and we look forward to welcoming you on board again soon.
Warm regards,
British Airways
