Lille is an airport which, for the size of the city, has services to virtually nowhere, just a couple of oddball routes to southern France and a few holiday charters. Even before Eurostar it rarely had any service to London (a couple came and rather rapidly went over the years).

The airport can be seen from Eurostar on the south side of the city. There are usually few or no aircraft in there when I pass.

I looked twice to see the start date was not 1 April.
