In fact, LBA-LIL-Paris-Nord is probably quicker than LBA-CDG-Paris-Nord.
Funnily enough, I was just looking at the exact same thing via the Lille Airport site.

Cheap shuttle bus from the airport to the two train stations. Return on the bus for a few quid and the Lille stations in 20 mins.

Easy way to get to Brussels as well as Paris as you suggest. However educating the average punter that Lille is a convenient transport hub with links to France and Belgium etc is another matter.
