Your trip sounds a lot nicer than my GF HKG-BKK-HKG trip during the time period.

The service by the GF FA's are sloppy. Meal service was slow. The crowd was uncivilized. The guy across the aisle from me was sticking his leg up to person in front of him the whole flight. While the jet is still parking after we land, the guy behind me jumped across my feet and tried to be one of the first to get off the plane. People were loud and obnixous. Really really bad crowd.

On top of this, while we were descending in BKK at 2000 feet, the pilot pulled the plane straight up because the jet in front of us was too close. It was very thrilling! I have never felt such thrust ever on a plane!!
