Recently flew DFW-CDG, had an AMAZING AA crew, in Y! (not always like that but they do deserve recognition when they provide a great service)
Thanks for sharing this, and I wish I (and others) more often recognized the many/most of the FAs that work so hard. I'd be willing to go as far as to say that many of the FAs I complain about couldn't have made it to the point they're at without at one point providing the kind of service we've all experienced and raved about. My only conclusion and point in the post is that it seems like some have lost whatever put them where they are now, and seem to be sitting behind the powerful protections of their collective. This is all fine, but I hope that people will find it useful that my whining about them up top, and more specific comparison a way lower, will open some eyes where their service will improve. I sent my complaint to AA, and from other posts on the board that I've seem, I'm not alone in the sentiments, so I hope that more would send them to AA as well. It may make a difference. One the same note, I have sent on few occasions thank you emails to AA to forward to their cabin staff, and wish that my comments to AA and on this board will eventually lead to a change that will allow me to send many more of these positive comments.
