I completely agree with law dawg on that point, fwiw.

Human history has repeatedly proven that humans will constantly develop to a point that many things taken for granted as being necessary, moral, etc. just a few centuries earlier will make most people of a given time cringe.

I believe statism, a cousin of slavery grounded in the same ideas and defended with many of the exact same arguments, will provoke the same reaction in humans 2-3 centuries from now that slavery produces in most people of our time (at least in the West).
