szg, I generally find that the T&C's are the lowest common denominator fall-back position --- e.g., if all else fails, refer to the T&C's to the hotel or PC Services Center if you're clearly in the right. But often I find that, at the hotel level at least, the T&C's are open to wide interpretation --- and while you may not be technically due any points, giving you points tends to be the cheapest way to solve a problem, and a GM or Assistant GM at the property level tends to be more than happy to do so.
