This weekend I rented from my Local Edition... the rate was $24.99 per day. I returned after one day and the folks behind the counter applied the coupon, and ended up owing ME $.01 for driving the car for a day. Of course I didn't make an issue of the penny

The credit hasn't shown up in My Southwest yet, but even if I only get 1/2 credit, that's a darn good deal... a free car for a day and .5 credit. I know what I will be doing EVERY weekend from now until that coupon expires.

If I drive it right home and park it there overnight, I won't even have to put any gas in before I return.
