Is this policy causing couples, who don't meet the pre-allocation requirements, to be split up because they can't get assigned seats until OLCI? I agree that not being able to assign seats at booking is a big negative for me. If traveling companions are actually being split-up, that would cause me to re-evaluate my use of BA.
