I flew, as a child I hasten to add, to Corfu on a Dan air Comet (perhaps this one for all I know) shortly before they were retired. I can't say that the landing there was comfortable - more of an "arrival" than a landing! But I'm glad to have done it. I certainly second Krug's comment that the museum is well worth a visit & if you are further afield the one near SEATAC is thrilling too!
By the way does anybody know what has happened to the Breitling Super Constellation normally seen on a far stand at Basle? It has been absent the last two times I passed by.
