I am not a FB member (or any SkyTeam partner for that matter), but had to buy an AF Brazil-India ticket. Any way I can get access to lounges on the way or cheap upgrade to Biz on this flight?

Is there any difference enrolling on the FB FF program over the web / counter / recommendation that would give me more points (or upgrade or access to lounges)?
