Wow. I didn't really consider it a trip report as I never said where I went or came from. I viewed it as more of a request for comments. I didn't want to judge my experience as 'the way it is on NW' without getting some feedback from others.

My reason for flying NW was they are the ONLY carrier that has 'real' jet service to the city we need to fly to on a regular basis.

The only reason I pointed out that I paid for F was if I had paid $200-300 for a coach ticket and gotten a free upgrade my expectations would be different.

It does look like we can fly on CO to DTW and then connect to a NW flight. CO sounds like it has a better F product.

Since you seem to be the expert at FT protocol I assume it is safe to post a reply that drones on and on, taking up enough space for oh I don't know, a trip report RTW perhaps.

Anyone who would take the time to dredge through and track down something I posted about a year ago would be considered a stalker in my social circle and truely consider as one who should get a life an live it.
