I think RC is just saying, "try and compare". Most of us on the NW forum know that NW domestic FC is no Singapore Air... but if you know that going in, you really dont expect too much. I would never compare NW to UA coz I know UA has a better FC product. IMHO, If you are paying (or your client is) and want the true FC and pampering, they you shouldnt fly NW. For me it's the seat and the extra room... I typically get the upgrade for free, I'm not complaining. If I want food, I'll stop at McD's before I board and get something I know I'll enjoy. Drinks are adequate and the NW FA's are pretty nice.
