Ultraportable laptop with SIM card/UMTS functionality
Hello everybody-- I'm in the market for a new ultraportable to replace my Dell D400 Latitude (which I've come to love like a son but have to replace due to the fact that the 1.4ghz Pentium M processor with 512MB memory and a 30GB hard drive doesn't work as fast or efficiently as I need to those days).
What I'm looking at is the D420, Vaio SZ, Lenovo X60s, and Fujitsu Q2010.
I am mostly Europe-based so WWAN functionality isn't important to me. What I would prefer is something like the Q2010 offers--the chance to slip in a SIM card and allow it to wirelessly hook up with UMTS networks here in Italy.
Is the Q2010 the only laptop that offers this, or are there others?
What matters to me the most is the weight, performance, and looks (battery life not as much so)
I appreciate any tips/recommendations from the experienced crew here! Thanks
