What is the big deal? Citibank Thank you Debt card give you 1 point per $3 charged via pin transactions. Most place charge between $0.50-$1.50 for money orders limit the amount of each money order to amounts between $500-1.5K and wont let you buy more than $2K worth of money orders per day using a debt card. So at the post office for example would cost you $3 for $2K worth of money orders (there max per day) So you getting 666 thank you points for $3. You know how long it would take you to get 25K thank you points for a free ticket? I dont know about your post office but my local post office always has like 20-30 min line. So almost not worth while in my option as 30 mins of my time is worth more than 666 thank you points even forgetting about the $3 dollar cost to buy the money orders.
Only BOA, Chase and Citi already got smart about this when it comes to airlines miles.
